The third day, I took a leisurely path until the Heads of the Valleys Road started to royally piss me off, because it's in a state of very active development. Sometimes it would cut right through the road I was on, leaving me at a dead end with no access to the other side. Then I tried following the A465 itself, at which point all traffic would be shunted off it as it itself disappeared, and we'd all snake through some tiny little village. Eventually I hit my old friend the A470, which took me to Cardiff and the M4, to get the Hell Out Of Wales. I did a bit of M5, then came off it, and went backroads to my sister's place in Torquay.
